Helen Whistberry (she/they) is the pen name for an indie author and artist who began writing after retiring from a long career working in libraries. She has published three novels in her Jim Malhaven Mysteries series, a collection of forest-themed short stories (The Melody of Trees), an animal fantasy tale (The Tail of Nightshade) as well as contributing horror and fantasy stories to numerous anthologies. Her most recent novel is Once Upon a Wave of Witches, a unique and uplifting fantasy adventure with co-author Eli Belt. Helen's whimsical digital artwork focuses on the natural world and she also loves to read and review books by fellow indie and small press authors.
