Holley is a life-long fan of all things spooky, fantastical, and mythological. She grew up in a then-tiny retirement town in Texas called Granbury, where books and movies were her escape. For seven years, she taught English Language Arts and Reading to high school freshmen, and for the last two years she has worked as an elementary school librarian. Helping kids and teens find themselves in books is a passion of hers because she has seen firsthand how much today's teens crave to see the complexities of their lives and their search for purpose in what they read. If she can't find them an existing book that has the unique blend of romance, fantasy, and self-discovery to resonate with, her aim is to write it! Aside from the written word, she also adores her two redheaded babies, her husband, and all their pets!
