J.A. Sloan lives in North Carolina with his wife, two children, and several furry creatures. He writes when not restoring their 130-year old farmhouse, tending the garden, or fishing. He is a retired risk management executive and construction contractor. His primary genre as an author is Historical Christian Fiction. "I like the freedom of fiction and the solid canvas of history.
