Janie Owens (aka Elizabeth Owens) is published by The Next Chapter, and Llewellyn Worldwide. Once a medium who wrote nonfiction on psychic matters and self-published novels along the same vein, she now writes inspirational novels under the name Janie Owens. All these books are clean reading, cozy mysteries. Janie is also an award winning author. Ms Owens' most recent series is Daytona Beach Mysteries. Book 1 is Haircut and Highlights, a story about Abby, a divorcee who returns to Daytona Beach to open a hair salon. She makes friends with the local shopkeepers and attracts the attention of a handsome police Sargent. Abby's loving heart reaches out to Rose, a homeless woman. But when she disappears, leaving behind blood at the salon's doorstep, Abby is determined to find Rose, or at least solve the mystery of her disappearance.
