JASON R. ANDERSON, MBA is a franchising expert, speaker, consultant, author, and college level instructor. While serving in the United States Air Force (active duty on 9/11), Jason started his first business. At only 23 years old, Jason sold that business, moved to Dallas, and got started in real estate in 2007. By 2011, his company had nearly 200 agents, three offices, and was the 8th largest real estate company by transaction volume in the State of Texas. Jason knew he had better systems, marketing programs, and service offerings than his largest competitors, RE/MAX and Keller Williams, and he couldn’t figure out how they had 100,000 agents compared to his 200 (500x more). Then he realized what they both had in common: They were both franchise opportunities. This is how Jason got his start in the franchising world. He subsequently sold his real estate business to a publicly traded company and was honored as recipient of Forbes 30 Under 30. He was featured on the cover of Realtor Magazine, received the Dallas Business Journal Minority Business Leader Award, and appeared on TLC’s My First Home. Today, Jason lives in Dallas with his wife, Claire, daughter, Ella Grace, and their two dogs. He sits on the board of United Franchise Group and is the president of Venture X, the fastest growing flexible office space franchise in the world, overseeing its growth to 32 locations open and 125 sold in 31 countries in only 4 years.
