I am a piano teacher of 40+ years, and have used one of my most successful students as the main character in my book. Her name is Annabelle. I wrote about Annabelle when she was a beginner and now she still attends piano lessons (and teaches) after nine years. Annabelle recently completed her Grade 8 exam with a High Distinction. She is still working hard on her goals. I am principal of a piano school that employs 2 teachers and 5 student teachers. I have a passion for helping students realise their potential when they work hard at a goal. I also instill this ethos in my teachers. I live in South Australia in a regional area with many other hard working and honest people. I have a husband, two children, four grandchildren and one dog. We spend a lot of time in the garden on weekends hoping to grow lots of veggies and flowers.
