I am the author of 17 non-fiction books. My newest book is Tinseltown Gangsters: The Rise and Decline of the Mob in Hollywood. It is a fast-paced, gripping account about how organized crime controlled much of the movie industry over the last hundred years. The book reveals, in startling detail, the grip that members of the national crime syndicate had on the careers of some of the most important directors, agents, stars, and studio heads. As with all my previous books, this one is available as a hardback and in Kindle Prior to the publication of Tinseltown Gangsters, I wrote the best selling book, Sin City Gangsters: The Rise and Decline of he Mob in Las Vegas. The book won plaudits from famed mob author Nicholas Pileggi, who wrote Good Fellas and Casino. That was preceded by my book, Big Apple Gangsters: The Rise and Decline of the Mob in New York, which is available as a paperback and a hardback. It has received numerous positive reviews, beginning with Publishers Weekly and followed by one in The New Yorker. A year earlier, I wrote Holocaust Fighters: Boxers Resisters, and Avengers, a unique of history of gladiatorial combat in Nazi concentration camps. I did numerous lectures at Holocaust centers and museums throughout the United States. My book, Boxing and the Mob: The Notorious History of the Sweet Science, in addition to being available as a hardback and on Kindle, is available as an audio book. Both the book and audio have received numerous positive reviews in magazines and newspapers throughout the United States and Europe. Rocky Graziano: Fists, Fame, and Fortune is the only complete biography of the great middleweight boxer, taking him from his poverty-stricken delinquent childhood to professional thief and to the middleweight boxing championship of the world, which was followed by years as a beloved celebrity and philanthropist. My book, Max Baer and Barney Ross: Jewish Heroes of Boxing is being made into a movie, which will begin filming in late 2024. I also wrote No Mere Bagatelles, a biography of handbag designer, Judith Leiber. Power Promoting: How to Market Your Business to The Top! is based on a marketing course I taught at university for 12 years.
