As an avid dog-lover, you will meet a four-legged character in nearly all her books. A transplant from upstate New York, she lives with her husband and Doberman, on the Olympic Peninsula with a panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains. Joanne has recently returned to dog training. Her Doberman Mazie loves to work, and the duo is training for Scent Work and started trialing in 2021. In her previous life, Joanne showed and titled dogs in conformation, obedience, agility, and rally. She has worked in personnel, finance, and managed her husband’s forensic engineering firm. Joanne is a member of Sisters In Crime (SIC), including the Houston, San Diego, Los Angeles, Columbia River, and Puget Sound Chapters. And a member of the Pacific NW Writers Association.
