Dr. Joseph Hollcraft has an extensive background in education, having taught at the middle school, high school, and university levels. With fifteen years of experience as a Catholic radio host and apologist, he is also deeply engaged in faith-based discourse. Currently, he serves as a Professor and Director of the High Calling Program at the Avila Institute. As an accomplished author, Dr. Hollcraft has written several books, including A Heart for Evangelizing (Emmaus Road, 2016), Unleashing the Power of Intercessory Prayer (Sophia Press, 2020), and Contemplating the Seven Sorrows of Mary (Sophia Press, 2024). He has appeared on EWTN Live with Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ, and Women of Grace with Johnette Williams. Additionally, he is a regular contributor to Catholic online journals and frequently speaks on Catholic radio about spiritual theology. Dr. Hollcraft holds a B.A. and M.A. from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and earned his Ph.D. from the Graduate Theological Foundation, completing his studies at Oxford University. Above all, he is a devoted husband and father, residing in Canal Fulton, OH, with his wife Jackie and their four children: Kolbe, Avila, Isaac, and Siena.
