Joseph served as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Army where his commitment and devotion earned him citations and awards, including the Bronze Star Medal. Joseph began a college career, while in the armed services. Joseph’s academic efforts led to him earning a Bachelor’s degree from Excelsior University and a Master’s Degree from National University. Joseph entered the private sector as a Communications and Information Technology Specialist for the Department of Defense. Mercer combined his experiences as an Intelligence Analyst with his education and training in information technology to develop enhanced organizational processes, improved administrative structures, and inspire transformed methodologies in communications planning for the military throughout Europe. Joseph currently serves on the board of directors for The Land on Your Feet Foundation, LLC, a non-profit focusing on providing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) programs for elementary school-age children. In 2019, Joseph branched out and founded the Career Motivation organization with the goal of empowering people to live life to the fullest while achieving the most out of their careers. Joseph and his family currently live in Grafenwoehr, Germany, where he serves as the Chief of Tactical Gaming for the Department of the Army.
