Her father, Daniel Miller worked for the railroad and her mother, Pamela was a teacher. Growing up in a small rural town, Karen had lots of time for exploring the countryside. She developed a passion for reading in the woods, especially romance titles; but she would read just about anything. She had few friends; but the ones she had, she has kept in touch with. There weren't any writers around Karen; but she still dreamed of being one. She would sit and dream up plots and characters to entertain herself and soon began crafting a sizeable collection of stories. Her mother was very inspirational and encouraged Karen in her writing every step of the way. At an early age, she began earning awards at school; but she knew that her ambitions were much greater. As high school ended, her only option would have been student loans or getting a scholarship. Luckily, she managed to get a full scholarship from Middle Tennessee State University and majored in English Literature and Fiction Writing as a minor. Karen graduated with high marks; and met the love of her life- a handsome, tall economics major with his own hopes and dreams. That tall man she fell in love with has been the inspiration for many a steamy male character, she assures. Karen is now living her dream of being a writer; and now that you know a little bit more about her, take some time to enter her world-a world of steamy romance, mystery, and intrigue.
