I am a writer, editor, wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend. I have been in publishing all of my adult life and love it. I've been a staff writer/editor at Jet Magazine. I've written for little ones at Weekly Reader. I've developed and edited curriculum at UMI and McGraw-Hill. And I've acquired books at Tyndale House Publishers. I know both sides of publishing (as a writer on the outside and as an editor on the inside)...it's a wild world worth traveling. I'm currently a Senior Editor at Our Daily Bread Publishing. My latest book is Navigating the Blues! It's a devotional for those going through the blues, anxiety, worry, and depression. I don't have the cure but I do know what has worked for me and helped me to keep going. I share some of the tools I used along with scripture, mantras, and other thoughts on mental wellness. I have also written another devotional, 5-Minute Devotional Book for Women. I love devotionals and they have been one of my main tools for spiritual growth. It is my prayer that this book will help others grow spiritually and grab a little quality time thinking about God each day. I even have a fun devotional for teen girls (Inspiration for Christian Teen Girls!); it is perfect for tweens and teens (and even some adults). I have a family devotional book for Advent (Joyous Advent). And I have a coloring book devotional for all ages (Parables of Jesus). I've also written a series for successful living (Successful Moms of the Bible, Successful Women of the Bible, and Successful Leaders of the Bible).
