Katie Doehrmann is an English teacher and writer for multiple publications. She spent 10 years helping small companies find their brand voice before she was inspired by her students to find her own. With mental illness and addiction affecting many of her friends and family members, Doehrmann makes it a priority to show the mountains and valleys that many face below the surface. Doehrmann resides in northern Indiana with her husband, Tater Tot the dog, and Simba the 20lb cat. She enjoys making her own teas from her garden, hiking and traveling every chance she gets, and being the crazy squirrel lady of the town.
