Kevin Salwen is the co-author of The Suspect: An Olympic Bombing, the FBI, the Media, and Richard Jewell, the Man Caught in the Middle. Kevin was a reporter and editor at The Wall Street Journal for over 18 years. After his tenure at the paper, he co-founded a magazine called Motto. He is the author, along with his then-14-year-old daughter Hannah, of The Power of Half: One Family's Decision to Stop Taking and Start Giving Back (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). The book chronicles the Salwen family's choice to sell their beautiful home, move into one half the size, and use half the money to try to make the world better. Kevin is a native of Brooklyn, New York (before it was cool), and moved to the Bay Area in 2016 for a fellowship at Stanford. He's a graduate of Northwestern University and a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, despite meeting his wife in the bleachers of Wrigley Field.
