Kevin's Tuerff's 9/11 story is portrayed on stage as "Kevin T" by an actor in the Tony-nominated Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY. He wrote "Channel of Peace" in response to audiences desire to learn more about the compassion of people in Gander, Newfoundland, in Canada, after the 9/11 attacks. In February 2018, House of Anansi Press debuted an updated and expanded version of the book. Kevin Tuerff is social entrepreneur, author and TEDx speaker with 25 years of experience in marketing communications. He has co-founded a college radio station, America Recycles Day, Pay it Forward 9/11, Inc., and a certified B Corporation environmental marketing company. He is passionate about finding solutions for global climate change, immigrants and refugees.
