Kristie lives in Orange County, California, where she works as an official court reporter when not fantasizing about the perfect man in a romance novel. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, hiking/climbing, whale watching, volunteering as a naturalist on whale watching boats, exotic travel adventures, photography, Scrabble, writing screenplays, blogging, and checking goals off of her bucket list. Previous businesses owned in Michigan are Dickinson Reporting, Inc.; Kristie's Kookies, LLC; Trafalgar Properties, LLC; and Twist Press. In what seems like a past life, Kristie has worked as a professional dancer all over the world, a dance instructor, and a professional model and actress. She can be seen in the movies "Chasing Sleep" and "Fallout Shelter," as well as numerous commercials and infomercials. She has received awards for Best Leading Actress from the Lansing Civic Players and Best Choreography from Riverwalk Theater. She has also spent a couple of years performing as a stand-up comic. In November 2019, Kristie won an Honorable Mention Award for her screenplay "The Other Christmas List" at the Sherman Oaks Film Festival.
