I was born at the foot of Mt. Rainier. Well, that's a fib. I was born in a hospital at the foot of Mt. Rainier. (Mom's always been a good sport, but has her limits.) My three sibs, Mom, Dad, and I lived in a two bedroom, one bath house for most of my formative years. I started writing about all of us in Middle School. Actually, it was called Junior High then, but Middle School makes me feel younger. I've written short stories, fiction, creative non-fiction, and newspaper articles. Each time I include said Mother in my project, I win a prize. As secretary of District 5, Kansas Authors Club, I placed among the top five for my category in the annual literary competition four years running. My greatest achievement, however, is my son Jeremy, father to the smartest almost-four-year-old granddaughter on the planet. My husband Tony is the best present the universe has given me so far. That being said,I wouldn't say 'no' to a winning lottery ticket.
