Lakrishi Kindred was born in Los Angeles California. She attended Trade Technical College, where she obtained her Associates Degree in Business Management. Lakrishi attended the University of Phoenix where she obtained her BAS in Business with a certificate in Human Resources. She has taken several courses on screen writing and filmmaking classes. Producing and writing is her passion, and she is determined to write and create films for all audiences. Some of her work as a co-producer includes “Truly Blessed”, which was accepted into the Pan African Film Festival in 2010 and “Perfect Man” which was accepted into the Indie Gathering Festival in 2012. She's also the writer for Perfect Man and Bluest Moon. Bluest Moon is the first movie that she wrote, produced and financed completely by herself. Being a first time filmmaker comes with its ups and downs, but Bluest Moon is certainly one that she is proud of. Currently she is writing a film that focuses on codependency entitled "Codependent" based off the book "Young Tender".
