Lara A. Serodio (Vigo, 1984) studied screenwriting at the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC) and holds a master's degree in linguistic, literary and cultural studies from the Faculty of Philology and Communication at the University of Barcelona. She has been a writer for current affairs portals such as S Moda of El País, an audiovisual scriptwriter and advertising creative director for different agencies, production companies and clients over the last decade. She is the author of the novels Una vida M (2015), Tercero sin ascensor (2017), Cerca de ti (2021) and La piel infiel (2021/2024) and El día sin mañana (2024). In 2020 she was awarded a Montserrat Roig Writing Prize from the Barcelona City Council - UNESCO City of Literature. She currently combines writing with running a publishing services company and a creative residency for artists.
