Laurence Myers was raised above his parents’ sweet shop in North London. He began work at sixteen at a firm of accountants for fifteen shillings a week and earned his spending money working in Petticoat Lane market. He worked at the heart of British rock and pop music in the 60s and 70s and later had a successful career in films and theatre, working on productions with Renee Zellweger, Anthony Quinn, Jacqueline Bisset, Gene Wilder, Kathleen Turner, Daryl Hannah, Peter O’Toole, Julie Walters, Kurt Russell and Tom Conti, among others. Laurence has been married to Marsha since 1962 and they have three adult children.
