Linda M. Au shares her home in western Pennsylvania with a guinea pig named Steve and her eternally patient engineer husband, Wayne Parker. She and Wayne share six grown children and 2.5 grandchildren. Linda's been a proofreader and typesetter for more than thirty years. Her real love, though, is writing. Well, writing and cruise ships. And comedies. And donuts. And typewriters. And backyard squirrels. And more donuts. And meandering around Sam's Club looking for huge vats of salsa. When she's not writing, Linda putzes around online and pretty much lives in her home office, which is tricked out with a couch, a TV, Gene Wilder and "Weird Al" Yankovic memorabilia, three desks, thirteen typewriters, two printers, a gargantuan computer monitor, and more geek-wannabe gear than anyone really needs.
