Lindsey is the founder and curator of Bottle of Tears, an online gift retailer dedicated to sending small tokens of hope and encouragement to the hurting. The inspiration for Lindsey's company was borne out of her own experience as an adoptive parent and chronic pain sufferer. In 2008, Lindsey and her husband, Chris, adopted their daughter, Eliana, from Guatemala, unaware of the deep emotional trauma their new child had already experienced. Shortly thereafter, Lindsey was diagnosed with Lyme disease, a condition she still struggles with. Despite the daily physical and emotional challenges she faces, Lindsey's heart is to maintain a positive outlook and find laughter and beauty in the pain, a desire she pours into every bottle she sells. Lindsey and her family live in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
