Lori Roberts is an educator, Civil War Living Historian, and presenter for historical events and workshops. She has published two Civil War-era novels: Lost Letters and Willow. In 2015, Lori published Cries in the Night, a paranormal suspense novel and book one in the Lowcountry Ghost Trilogy. Where the Sweetgrass Grows is the second book in the Lowcountry Ghost Trilogy. It was chosen as a finalist in the Suspense category for the Silver Falchion Award for Suspense in 2019. and a semi-finalist in the Paranormal category for the CIBA awards with Chanticleer Reviews in 2019. This Dark and Bloody Ground, book one in the Frontiers of America Series, was released on September 1, 2019. It was a finalist for the Silver Falchion Award at Killer Nashville Writer's Conference in 2020. Sing a Song of Murder. based on a 1904 cold case, was released in October 2023. The third book in the Lowcountry Ghost Trilogy, All That is Within Us, is expected to be released in summer of 2024.
