Ludger Dominic Bracht was born and raised in the Ruhrgebiet, the industrial center in Germany. As a Jack of all trades he worked as a tour guide in Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico and the US, received training as a travel agent, worked as a delivery driver, ski instructor, stage hand, forklift driver, runner for concert and comedy productions, salesman for a wholesale company, owned retail stores and a catering company for artists and crews, cooked on 19th century sailing ships in the Netherlands, a hut in the French speaking part of Switzerland and in tent kitchens in Croatia and Sweden. He still works in the concert industry and owns Personal Scout Tours, a tour company specialized in custom and small group tours through the US and Canada, as well as ski trips through Noth America and Japan. His passion is traveling. Ludger´s books are inspired by his travels.
