I was 53 years old when I was placed on a ventilator and into a drug-induced coma for a pulmonary illness. For almost three weeks my family prayed as they hovered over my bed in the Critical Care Unit. Mysteriously, I was somewhere else. It took over ten years to begin to fathom what I experienced in an Afterlife of demons and fear, then blessedly - God’s loving embrace. Unhappily, I was sent back for a purpose; I just didn’t know what it was. After many years of false starts, I published a book of my life experiences to finally make sense of the Dark NDE. With my background of positive, humorous, and brave family members, this book brings light and hope, and suggests answers to life's questions concerning what happens when we die.
