When I am not unraveling fictional lives, I am living the chaos of my own. You can usually find me cheering for my kids at basketball games, tearing up at band performances, tending to my garden, or wandering outdoors in search of a little peace between deadlines. I believe love is not always soft. Sometimes it is dangerous, sometimes it is tender, but it can always be beautiful.
