Hi and thanks for stopping in!! I am Megan Taunton and I was born and raised in a small country town known as Monterey, Louisiana...my family and I still reside in this peaceful community with our 2 living children & our 4th on the way!! In 2015 our first born daughter ,at the age of 3, was diagnosed with a rare and terminal brain stem tumor known as DIPG. Aiden was a vibrant child and a force to be reckoned with...she inspired communities and people around the world as I began to share our journey with everyone through social media. Her love for Jesus sparked a new beginning in me and her death in 2017 ignited a desire in my heart to write. My first book "I Think I Want to See Jesus" is inspired by true conversations I had with Aiden during her journey. I hope that it can start a conversation with your kids about the love of Jesus and help them on their journey to a closer relationship with Him. My second book "Heaven in Our Hearts" was inspired by my living kids as they experienced grief. It's the questions & scenarios that kids who are grieving face. I hope it helps kids through their grief & the parents as well. Our journey through grief continues to spark our minds and the Lord blesses me with words to put on paper for more children’s books and an upcoming book about our cancer story. He has also gifted me with an outlet in the podcast world with Life & Loss with Megan Taunton where I speak openly about my struggles and the Lords amazing love. The devotional world is also something I have been inspired to create...21 Days to Let Go of Fear & Mourning + Movement are two devotionals I created from my own struggles in hopes of helping others.
