Miguel Mendonça is an English author based in Bristol, UK. After studying and working in forestry and horticulture, he gained an honors degree in geography and history then studied social science and environmental ethics at postgraduate level. He worked in the sustainability field for six years, specializing in renewable energy policy. While serving as Research Manager for an international NGO he lectured widely and wrote textbooks, articles and papers, providing an evidence base for campaigners from NGOs, politics, finance, industry and civil society around the world to push for new or better renewable energy laws. After publishing a collection of short fiction in 2011 he began to research the ET field in depth. In 2015 he co-authored Meet the Hybrids with Barbara Lamb, a study of the lives of eight ET-human hybrids living on Earth. His second book in the trilogy is titled We Are the Disclosure - A People's History of the Extraterrestrial Field, which explores the development of the UFO/ET field over the last 70 years, through interviews with 26 people who have experienced and contributed to it in various ways. The final part of the trilogy is Being with the Beings - The How and the Why of ET Contact. This dives deep into contact experience through interviews with nine long-term experiencers, including three channelers and four hybrids. Miguel's next book was Wisdom - Now and Always. Wisdom has always been a precious and powerful resource, but what exactly is it, and how can we cultivate and apply it? As a problem-solving tool it has never been more necessary, and as a guide to living well, it is our best friend. To explore its nature and use, its cultivation and benefits, author Miguel interviewed 25 highly accomplished and insightful artists, activists, writers and teachers from around the world, including Satish Kumar, Elisabet Sahtouris, Frances Moore Lappé, Vandana Shiva, Sulak Sivaraksa, Reuben Langdon, Francesc Miralles and Herbert Girardet. Representing a wide range of fields, including indigenous culture, environment, governance, academia, science and spirituality, media and the arts, the contributors share fascinating, moving and illuminating experiences and perspectives which get us all closer to the heart of wisdom, and how we may all apply it to live wiser, more engaged and rewarding lives. His latest book is Make/manifest - A Life in Art and Craft. It is an exploration of the challenges and rewards of living a creative life. Twenty-three award-winning artists and creators share the insights they have gained through long-term relationships with their craft, discussing their medium, their relationship with their audience, and their approaches to creative and professional sustainability. These unique profiles offer the reader inspiration and illumination that will help them reflect on, deepen and refresh their craft. Make/Manifest features interviews with Kari Barba, Formica Coriandolo, Mike Hall, David Hurn, Corin Johnson, Claudia Kappenberg, Muazzam Ali Khan, Reuben Langdon, Peter Lord, Rama Mani, Miguel Mendonça, Maggie Murphy, Charlotte Mary Pack, Lee Pepper, Lady Pink, Stan Prokopenko, Herman Rarebell, Red Means Recording, Josh Scott, Matthew Shewchuk, Dave Smith, Kazuaki Tanahashi and Eda Elif Tibet.
