Mona Lindsey was born and raised in the State of Massachusetts and studied at university in Boston. After graduating she decided to take a year off and travelled to Australia and New Zealand, where she did casual bar and restaurant work wherever she could find it to finance the next stage of her journey. Upon returning to the United States Mona went back to live in Massachusetts where she became a Certified Phlebotomy Technician and she has now worked in the role for the past 10 years. Remembering how hard she had found it to pass her own Phlebotomy exam, Mona began to explore ways in which she could help others to succeed and go on to also become certified Phlebotomist. She decided that a book was the answer and the result is her first foray into the world as a published author, with a book that contains everything a budding Phlebotomist will need to ensure they are capable of passing the test. Today, Mona lives in a small town in rural Massachusetts with her husband and two children. She spends her free time writing articles, walking her dog in the countryside and socializing with friends. She also devotes some of her time to volunteer work at an animal charity and likes to travel both near and far when the opportunity arises.
