Monica Lombardi is an Italian author who lives near Milan and writes (mainly) romantic suspense novels. She loves mixing genres because a story is a story and comes before any label. Mystery and a touch of thrill seem to be deeply rooted in her DNA and she loves writing about love and families, by blood and choice, so suspense, romance and love in a broader sense are definitely the key ingredients of her novels. Her only work available in English for now is Vertigo, the first in her acclaimed spy-romance GD Team series. The second volume, Free fall, is expected in spring 2020. “To me, writing means feeling the world breathe” - this is the motto that summarizes her approach to story-telling.
