First and foremost, Mr. Smith considers himself a husband to Mrs. Smith and a father to their 4 children. Professionally speaking, he is the President of AeroCom, Inc. and has held this position since 2003, when he and Mrs. Smith founded the company, working out of a bedroom in their small condo in Orange, CA. A brokerage for business telecommunications and cloud services, AeroCom has quickly become one of the most successful businesses of its kind in the United States. In 2011, Mr. Smith was named one of the 40 most successful business people, under the age of 40, by OC Metro Magazine. Prior to starting AeroCom, he spent 4 years as a top-ranking salesperson for a business telecommunications service provider, XO Communications. Before his professional career, Mr. Smith’s attention was focused on athletics. Coming out of high school, he was ranked as the 7th best quarterback in the country and received a full scholarship to the University of Washington. After earning a degree in business management, he played professional football in Munich, Germany. When his football days ended, Mr. Smith earned an MBA from San Diego State University and started his career in business. Today, in addition to spending time with their family and running AeroCom, Mr. and Mrs. Smith are the co-authors of several faith-based family and parenting books.
