Muriel Ellis Pritchett is the author of the Feisty Women’s Fiction book series about feisty, smart, older women, who have been wronged, but manage to persevere and climb out of the muck. In addition to women’s fiction, Muriel has written a young adult paranormal, NOT MYSELF TODAY, and a middle grade adventure book, DROWNING DAYS. A second middle grade book -- a science fiction aliens adventure book, ALIENS SPURLOCK -- is scheduled for release in October 2024. An award-winning author, Muriel was born and raised in Georgia, but after graduating from UGA, she lived in Japan and Germany, where she started her writing career as a freelance magazine writer. When she retired, Muriel's doctor told her to get a hobby. So, she decided to write fiction books. Muriel, who professes to be a chocoholic, and her husband are both Disney-holics. In addition to visiting Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California every year, they have visited Disneyland Tokyo, Disney Seas in Tokyo, and Disneyland Paris. Disneyland Shanghai is high on their travel list.
