Dr. Namrata Goswami grew up in Northeast India. She completed her Ph.D. in international relations in 2005. In 2006, she launched her professional career in academic research, studying Great Power Politics, International relations and ethnic conflicts. Dr. Goswami is a recipient of the Fulbright-Nehru Senior Fellowship, the Jennings Randolph Senior Fellowship, the Endeavour Research Fellowship, the Henrich Bol Foundation Fellowship and the Minerva Research Grant. She has served as Senior Fellow at the United States Institute of Peace and Fellow at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses. She continues to research on Great Power Politics in the realm of Grand Strategy as well as ethnic conflicts.
