Nick Montfort develops computational art and poetry and studies creative computing of all sorts. In addition to writing books, Montfort has developed digital writing projects including collaborations Sea and Spar Between (with Stephanie Strickland) and The Deletionist (with Amaranth Borsuk and Jesper Juul). He directs The Trope Tank, a lab/studio. He is professor of digital media at MIT and principal investigator at Center for Digital Narrative the University of Bergen, Norway. He lives in New York.
