Nicole Grant works with the powerful methodologies of yoga to cultivate self-awareness and human connection, and encourages using the conditions and confrontations of life to embody yoga practice off the mat. She founded Yoga Mandala in 2001 with the mission of making the potent teachings and practices of yoga accessible to every person and every body. Nicole is an International American, born in Beirut, Lebanon, raised in Surrey, England and Geneva, Switzerland and is presently based in the Boston area. She brings over two decades of dedicated yoga practice and experience in the lineage of Sri T. Krishnamacharya to her unique style of teaching, Vinyasa Krama Yoga, based in the art of intelligently sequencing postures and moving breath that makes sense to the practitioner’s body, and empowers self-agency and resilience in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threat or significant stress. Nicole is co-creator with Lara Wilson of Be Well Be Here foundation in Concord, MA, whose mission it is to foster personalized mindful wellness practices in the spirit of community and collaboration through trauma-informed yoga, reiki, meditation and writing. Nicole offers Self-Mastery clinics to advance your yoga practice (and teaching), and leads Self-Mastery programs (based on her book, Yogini’s Dilemma: To Be, Or Not To Be, A Yoga Teacher?) and Sacred-Self Mandala Ventures worldwide.
