I am a self-described geek and romantic. My day job is working as an IoT (Internet of Things) Architect in a fortune 500 Oil and Gas Service Company, which has afforded me the opportunity to experience various cultures and its peoples having lived and worked in many countries across Africa, North America, and Europe. I have always held a passion for the written word and now in 2017 (better late than never), I am actively seeking to make a contribution to the literary world. My writing career is just picking up but I absolutely love to write! The magic of making words come alive on paper to create a vision in the mind’s eye of the reader excites me to no end. Right now I enjoy writing short novels and poetry but a full length book is being birthed as I write this. So watch this space… In my free time (and who in heaven’s coined that term anyway considering how precious and expensive time is), I love to play chess, read, philosophize, do yoga, and practice sports like squash, karate, tennis, boxing -- sorry folks, I do not do golf or cricket (okaaaay! I just alienated more than a billion people!) To count as a sport, my Neanderthal self has to be chasing something/someone or something/someone has to be chasing me while my heart is pounding for good measure. I currently live in Houston, Texas with my family.
