About Patricia… As long as I can remember, I have written stories. Admittedly, when I was young it was more of a scribble but I understood it! In my wildest imaginings, I never thought I would have a short story published but I did, in fact, several. I enjoy creating characters and they occasionally take over my life. Before becoming a full-time writer, I ran my own hairdressing business. Come to think on it, I have never written a story involving a hairdresser and I can tell you during my time in the industry I have met some weird and wonderful characters. It’s surprising what clients will divulge to their hairdresser. I’ve heard all sorts of gossip and sometimes I’ve actually known the person gossiped about, but I can honestly say I’ve never repeated gossip. Well… maybe once or twice! Writing can be a lonely affair between my computer and me. However, when a story is finished after editing and tweaking and a reader says, ‘I enjoyed that’, then the time I spent writing the story was worth it. Happy Reading and Best wishes from me to you.
