Robert C. Bartlett is the Behrakis Professor in Hellenic Political Studies, Department of Political Science, Boston College, where he has served since 2010. His main area of study is classical political philosophy, and in particular Xenophon, Plato, Thucydides, and Aristotle. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Robert Bartlett holds a Master's in Classics and Ph.D. in Political Science from Boston College. Before teaching at Boston College, he held the Blank Distinguished Teaching Chair at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He is the author or editor of nine books and many scholarly articles.
