Robert Roy Foresman is currently a PhD. student in History at Liberty University. Having served formerly in the U.S. Army during Operation Enduring Freedom, Foresman has a passion for military research; however baseball and sport history are also of interest. Foresman has been an active participant at historical conferences and events over the past ten years, including the Missouri Valley History Conference, Northern Great Plains History Conference, and many local and state historical societies across the United States. He is a member of Phi Alpha Theta and the Blue Key Honor Society. Foresman plans to pursue a career in academia and obtain a PhD. in History, concentrating on Great Plains, Environmental and Women's history. Foresman enjoys camping, canoeing and a plethora of outdoor activities; he is an avid sports fan and his favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, Cincinnati Bengals and Sporting Kansas City. He also enjoys volunteering in any capacity when it comes to historical preservation and education. He currently lives in Bellevue, Nebraska with his wife Katerina and daughter.
