Robert Strock is a psychotherapist, educator, and self-care advocate. In his 50 years of professional practice combined with a deep spiritual discipline devoted to meditation and self-inquiry, Robert has been able to find the wisdom and clarity to express in words what has been living and expanding in his heart throughout those years. AWARENESS THAT HEALS shares the eight practices Strock has developed over a lifetime of committed self-exploration, shaped by his encounter with an unexpected medical crisis followed by a long and challenging recovery. Robert is also the founder and chairperson of the Center for Authentic Living, which has distinguished itself as a leading counseling practice for the Southern California business, therapeutic and entertainment communities. His online videos are shared with psychology students, therapists, social workers, caregivers, and seekers of greater inner peace and self-growth. Twenty years ago Robert co-founded the Global Bridge Foundation whose mission it is to contribute to the co-creation of a more compassionate and peaceful world by offering guidance and funding for alleviating poverty in underserved communities and addressing global warming.
