Robert V. Joseph was born in Oakland, California and raised in several locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to the Bay Area, he has spent time as a resident of both Los Angeles and New York City. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in African and African American Studies with a minor in English. He also earned a M.A. in Education from the University of California at Berkeley. His journey includes more than twenty years of experience as a professional actor in the theatre industry, the television industry, and the motion picture industry. He won praise in reviews of the Los Angeles Times and other publications for his work. His journey also includes experience as a teacher. He served as the Resident Teacher at Thomas Edison Charter Academy in San Francisco. He was honored to have Words From The Spirit selected as a Global Book Award winner in both the Motivational Self-Help category and the Spiritual Self-Help category. Since the book was published, he has spoken to audiences across the United States. His work as a speaker has focused on personal development, spiritual connection, and the power to manifest dreams into reality to create success.
