S. Joshua Swamidass M.D. PhD. is physician scientist. In addition to his scientific work, Dr. Swamidass the founder of Peaceful Science (http://peacefulscience.org), where he explores the dialogue between faith and science, engaging grand questions together. He is a speaker for Veritas Forums, and he served the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) as an advisor to the Science for Seminaries program. He is currently appointed as an Associate Professor of Laboratory and Genomic Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. His research group uses artificial intelligence to ask scientific questions at the intersection of medicine, chemistry, and biology. His work has been featured in WIRED, USA Today, The Scientist, and The Wall Street Journal.
