Falling culprit to many a luna park cyclone whiplash, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Okuboyejo is a first generation Nigerian-American actor, writer and narrator.Two short months after graduation, she joined the HAMILTON chicago company (U/S Eliza, Angelica and Peggy). She then went on to star as Ayamma in MCC's, NOLLYWOOD DREAMS by Jocelyn Bioh, which earned her rave reviews.  Most recently, she starred as Natasha in NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 at PCLO, which earned her additional rave reviews. Favorite credits include: RAGTIME on Ellis Island (Sarah), THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Janet), CAROLINE OR CHANGE (Emmie). Film credits: THE GAG premiering at TribecaFilmFest 2023. Tv credits: recurring guest on DR. DEATH: THE MIRACLE MAN, and guest spots on THE BLACKLIST and TOMMY.   In narration, Sandra was recently featured as Nena on Emerald Audio's production of RAINBOW GIRL, written by 18-time NY Times bestselling author Jane Green. Audiobooks: 'THE SWEETEST REMEDY',  'AFRICAN TOWN',  'MINECRAFT: THE HAVEN TRIALS' ,  'DELICIOUS MONSTERS', & 'JACKAL' . She is set to make a narrative appearance in Jordan Peele's "OUT THERE SCREAMING" audiobook this fall.  Recognition wise, she is the recipient of a Starred Review on the Booklist December 2022 issue,  Audible's 13 Best Debuts of 2022 and a 2023 Earphones Award.  At the helm of book, music and lyrics, her all-female led new musical HALONA & OPHELIA was selected in 2018 to receive a staged reading under the 'pace new musicals' initiative. It was further developed through the 'apples and oranges theater accelerator program', and has been showcased at various venues including Pace University, Schaeberlee Studios, 54 below and the Hartt school of music. She is also the author, illustrator, and audiobook narrator of children’s book BLACK GIRL MAGIC ABC, and book writer of original play SAVE THE PIECES. Sandra was recently named a 2022 Jonathan Larson Grant finalist.
