Seamus Bruner is the Associate Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute (GAI). He has worked with Peter Schweizer since June 2011 and with GAI since January 2013 providing research & support for numerous New York Times best-sellers. That research has been featured on the front page of top publications like New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post and resulted in multiple 60 Minutes exposés. Bruner has discussed the results of his findings on national TV and radio. RESULTS: In 2012, congress passed the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act based on the insider trading revelations in the book Throw Them All Out. In 2015, FBI field offices across the country opened investigations relating to the pay-to-play allegations first revealed in the book Clinton Cash. In 2018, Schweizer’s book Secret Empires earned the highly coveted #1 slot on the NY Times best-sellers list.
