I have been writing since I was sixteen years old, but I never let anyone read it. I never believed my wonderings were worth showing to anyone. At sixty-seven, I'm still not sure if anyone wants to read what I write, but I have a lot of learned knowledge that gives me something to make you laugh, go ah, cry, or just say 'hmm.. When I was writing this bio, I was told it was best to give an insight as to who I am and how I got here, I'm not sure there is an insight to who Sherry the author is. I am a wife, a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and I wear those hats well. I am a SEO specialist, a writer, and a storyteller. I am slowly going blind and telling fate that I don't care what it throws at me, I will still be me, and I will still continue to write, even if I have to talk to the computer. (I just hope someone can decipher my ramblings so I can publish it for you to read. LOL). Words have always fascinated me, and putting them down on paper is my way of celebrating all those words. I even take license to create some words of my own.. When I've written a story, I am reading at the same time. One day, someone asked me how I come up with my dialogue and I simply said, 'Because I'm talking to and listening to the person who is standing behind me." I feel as if there is someone telling me what to write, and I try to tell their story. I'm not sure what genre I prefer, so I dabble a little in every one. I haven't been able to put myself into a category, so why should I when it comes to my books. the only thing I can promise is that I won't bore you with a lot of added words just to have enough words to be called a novel. I wrtie short books and stories, and I love what I do. I have written children's books that are based on occurrences that have happened with my grandchildren, and some books are just for fun; like the adult only books. I live on top of a mountain where I have a lot of open space and few people to keep me from dreaming and finding things to write about. I hope that people enjoy what I write and can find an escape from life..
