Steph West is an award-winning author, editor, producer, director, and screenwriter with more than 15 years of professional experience in the media and film industries. She is particularly passionate about creating stories that feature women, as well as creating equality in the sports, media, and film landscapes, where she has led and collaborated with diverse and talented teams for more than 10 years. She is currently an author and publisher at Red Fern Press, where she released her first book in 2023, a memoir titled "On Fire", which received rave reviews and accolades from readers and critics alike. Her debut novel "Newcross", a fiction work that explores the themes of identity, family, and justice in a dystopian setting, is set for release in 2024. In addition to her literary pursuits, West is also a creative producer, director, and screenwriter at Eleven One Productions, where she has produced and directed several short films that have been nominated and selected for various festivals and awards. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Ashland University, and has completed courses from the Sundance Institute Collab and the New York Film Academy. She also earned a certification in Global Sports Management from New York University. She is an advocate for women and equality, and strives to inspire and empower others through her stories AND the creation process of those stories.
