Suha AL Khalifa is a writer, producer, director and psychotherapist who considers herself a cultural hybrid having lived in Bahrain, UK, and US throughout her life as an ambassador’s daughter. Her stories bring together these global influences integrating diverse themes and perspectives. She thoroughly enjoys bringing different worlds together while exploring how the distinct rules and psychologies impact the individual and cultures alike. She is currently a screenwriter for MBC (Middle East Broadcasting Center) having written projects including an eight-part TV Drama Rashash to be aired in early 2021, the region’s first female superhero film, detective and historical dramas. Suha is also a consultant for Middle Eastern content for film and television. She produced and co-directed the feature film Let’s Go Home which is available on Amazon Direct. Previously She was the head of production and an award-winning executive producer at Bahrain TV. Suha graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Psychology and English Literature, earned a Master’s in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a Film Diploma from the New York Film Academy. Thus far, she has written seven screenplays and two novels. She is represented by Metamorphosis Literary Agency for the fantasy novel Heir of Darkness to be published in July 2020.
