I am an American woman that lived overseas for 25 years, mostly in the Arab world. After University I worked in Vietnam during the War from 1970-72. The war had made such an impact on me that afterwards, I made my Great Escape and traveled down the International Hippy Trail from India to Istanbul, Thailand & Laos. My college boyfriend was a foreign student from Lebanon and after we reconnected and married, I lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for 16 years. We spent time in Lebanon during the civil war there. More recently I lived in Cairo. My memoir will take you on a fascinating journey around the world that you won't forget.
