Susanne L. Lambdin (born 1962, Wichita, Kansas) started her writing career with a "'based in part' writing credit for Star Trek: The Next Generation Eps. 76 "Family" - remember when Wesley Crusher met his father on the holodeck when he turned 18 years of age? This was Susanne's contribution to Star Trek. She worked for Paramount Pictures from 1986 thru 1994, and now lives in Kansas with her family where she now writes fiction. Her genres include horror, fantasy, action/adventure, romance, and military sci-fi. Realm of Magic: Seeker of Magic, Mistress of Magic, and Queen of Magic are part of a fantasy/supernatural trilogy. Follow the adventures of Taliesin, Mistress of the Raven Clan, on the search for the most powerful sword in the realm - it's up to Taliesin to end a civil war and restore magic to a realm where magic is outlawed by the King. This trilogy focuses on female empowerment in a male-dominated society, with a strong heroine at the helm. Dead Hearts Novels concerns teenagers in the Colorado Rockies during a zombie apocalypse, with a mutating virus which creates every imaginable monster in myth and folklore. Eleven novels are currently published in this series: Morbid Hearts (published in 2012, on the Watermark Books Bestseller List and New York Times Bestseller), Forsaken Hearts, Vengeful Hearts, Defiant Hearts, and Immortal Hearts. Bloodlines: Exordium, Medius, and Ultimum follow the Dead Hearts novels Vengeful Hearts and Immortal Hearts, with Logan Bennet as the central focus. This is a time-traveling adventure with Templar vampire knights that enlarges the original Dead Hearts world, with villains based in ancient Atlantis. Night Breed: Bloodlines. Blood Moon, Wolf Moon, and Storm Moon continue the Dead Hearts saga. The world is reset due to ripples in time and major characters return to the Colorado Rockies to deal with a new zombie outbreak. This trilogy focuses on the Dark Angels and the Cheyenne Mountain Wolf Tribe who face troublesome demons from Atlantis and Hell, with a whole new breed of zombies eating the survivors of the initial apocalypse. Her latest novel is Acropolis 3000: Genesis, a military sci-fi series following the adventures of Demetri, a young female replicon in the Acropolis Army-Aircorps in a world filled with mutated creatures created by the fallout of WWIII. Favorite authors: Edgar Rice Burroughs, JR Tolkien, Anne Rice, Frank Yerby, Marion Zimmer Bradley, George R.R. Martin, and Stephen King. Susanne often attends cons throughout the United States. Her panels on "How to Write Your First Novel", "The Strategies and Tactics of Writing", and "Zombies 101" are fun and informative. Helping young authors learn the tricks of the trade, along with offering tips and guidelines, are always a part of her panels. "There's more than enough room in libraries for new authors and new novels," she tells young writers. "Just write!"
