Tammi Arender is a TV anchor and reporter who currently works for RFD-TV, the agriculture network in Nashville, TN. She was raised on a cotton and soybean farm south of Tallulah, Louisiana. She became a TV news anchor and reporter at KNOE-TV in Monroe, Louisiana in 1981. She's worked for TV stations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Little Rock, Arkansas, Charleston, West Virginia and currently in Nashville, Tennessee. Tammi is also a contributor to LaRider TV, a motorcycle travel show that airs in most TV markets in Louisiana. Tammi contributes to other programs such as, This Week in Louisiana Agriculture and Tennessee Crossroads on PBS in Nashville. Tammi has also contributed to national shows such as Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, The Nashville Network, Good Morning America, and CBS News This Morning. Tammi also uses her gift of gab in other ways as well-- like acting. Since she was asked to be a reporter in the movie remake of one of her favorite childhood shows, “Dukes of Hazzard”, she's gone on to do other films such as “Pitch Perfect 2”, “The Nice Guys”, “Enemies Among Us”, “Twilight: Breaking Dawn ”, “Alabama Moon”, “Private Valentine: Blonde and Dangerous”, and “Flag of My Father", just to name a few. she has 14 movie credits. Tammi also loves to ride horses and Harleys! In the equine arena, she's ridden competitively in barrels, western pleasure and cutting. Her current passion keeps her in the kitchen during her free time. She's even taken her cooking to the next level by coming in first runner up on the TNT show “On the Menu”, where her White Chocolate Cheesecake with praline sauce had Emeril LaGasse saying it was one of the best cheesecakes he'd ever tasted! She's also been selected to compete on the Food Network shows Fakers vs Bakers and the Christmas Cookie Challenge. She has her own online bakery, called "Taste of Tallulah".
